Join us for the Kiddie Kaper Parade, a short and sweet parade through the Turlock Melon Carnival! Kids, families, Scout troops, dance groups, clubs, and other youth organizations are invited to dress up, decorate their bikes, wagons, scooters, or strollers, and parade with us from Stage A to Stage B.
The parade will be led by our Miss Melon Pageant winners and contestants, and every participating child will receive a special Kiddie Kaper Parade ribbon!

The Miss Melon Pageant is more than a stage; it’s a platform for young women in our community to grow as leaders, ambassadors, and voices for Turlock.
This year, we’re excited to introduce a renewed focus on leadership, community involvement, and personal development. Our contestants won’t just be preparing for pageant night; they’ll be stepping into meaningful roles throughout the season by attending local events, engaging with city leaders, and representing the heart and future of our community.
These young women are learning how to speak with confidence, serve with purpose, and lead with integrity—and they need your support.
